This Privacy Policy applies to Web sites owned and operated or shared by Solutionbee LLC that are intended for use by beekeepers for commercial and non-commercial personal, family or household purposes. Except where noted, statements in this Privacy Policy with respect to the Solutionbee Web Sites also apply to the B-Ware apps (or “App”)

References to “Solutionbee” mean Solutionbee LLC .Solutionbee may share information among its subsidiaries or web sites that it owns or controls, but information collected under this Privacy Policy is always protected under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

At Solutionbee we understand that privacy of personal information is of paramount importance to our users. We give full attention and respect your privacy choices.

Our privacy policy explains how information is collected, used and disclosed by Solutionbee with respect to your access and use of Solutionbee services, whether through our website (located at www.solutionbee.com) or Solutionbee mobile applications (referred to below as “B-Ware”). When we use the term “Personal Information” in this document, we mean any information that can be used to contact or identify you (such as your name or email address)

Information Collected About You

The system collects certain “Personal Information” about you – such as your name, address, telephone number, email address or health information – in the following ways:

When you complete our registration process, send us an email or post information or other content to Solutionbee, the system collects Personal Information from you, such as your name and email address.

We may automatically collect certain information when you use Solutionbee websites or B-Ware, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address (if using a browser), operating system, the browser type, the address of a referring site and your activity on Solutionbee. This information is not treated as Personal Information unless we combine it with or link it to any of the personally identifiable information mentioned above. As with many other sites, we may also use “cookies” or web beacons. These are small files that your browser places on your computer. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You can instruct your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.

We may collect “Non-Personal Information” – information that cannot be used to identify you – via Cookies, Solutionbee mobile device applications and from external sources.

What are your choices?

If you do not want your Personal Information used by Solutionbee as provided in this Privacy Policy, you should not register as a member or for any specific tool or application that collects Personal Information.  If you have registered and no longer want Solutionbee to use your Personal Information, you should delete your information as described in this Policy.

Most browser software can be set to reject Cookies, and you can opt out of Cookies for several Ad Servers by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative gateway opt-out site.

How Information Collected About You Is Used

The information we collect about you may be used to:

Administer your account; Provide you with access to particular tools and services; to provide our services, including by providing information such as reading reminders and error messages.

Respond to your inquiries and send you administrative communications; to send you confirmations, updates, security alerts, administrative messages and otherwise facilitate your use of, and our administration and operation of, our services;

to respond to your emails, submissions, questions, comments, requests, and complaints and provide customer service ,Obtain your feedback on our sites and our offerings;

Statistically analyze user behavior and activity;

Provide you with more relevant content and advertisements; to provide content or features that match your profile or interests

Send you personalized emails or secure electronic messages pertaining to your bee health interests, including news, announcements, reminders and opportunities. to monitor and analyze usage and trends, and to increase the functionality and user friendliness of our services; and for any other purpose for which the information was collected.

We may combine Personal and Non-Personal Information collected by Solutionbee about you, and may combine this information with information from external sources.

With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

Solutionbee will not disclose any Personal Information about you unless specifically agreed to you by you or:

To comply with legal requirements, such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order;

we may share your information, including Personal Information, with service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our site or our services (these service providers have access to your Personal Information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose it or use it for any other purposes);To our vendors and suppliers in the course of their provision of products or services to Solutionbee

In the event of a corporate change in control resulting from, for example, a merger, a sale of assets, or bankruptcy; or in special cases, such as in response to a physical threat to you or others. we may share aggregated information and non-identifiable information with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other similar purposes;

Solutionbee does not make your Personal Information available to third parties for their marketing purposes. We will not share the Personal Information we have collected from you, except as described below:

when you give us your consent to do so, including if we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information;

when we believe in good faith that we are lawfully authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes or respond to lawful requests or legal authorities, including responding to lawful subpoenas, warrants or court orders;

to enforce or apply our privacy policy, our terms of use or our other policies or agreements; and

in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition, or in any other situation where Personal Information may be disclosed or transferred as one of our business assets.

We are not responsible for the actions of service providers or other third parties, nor are we responsible for any additional information you provide directly to any third parties.

How Do We Secure and Retain Your Information?

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We have put in place technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to protect the Personal Information that we collect. When you enter Personal Information, we encrypt the transmission of that information or use SSL connections (Secure Socket Layer) technology.

However it should be noted that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We will retain your Personal Information as long as your account is active or needed to provide you services. At any time you can remove your Personal Information or instruct us to remove it, but you should be aware that it is not technologically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to Solutionbee from our servers. Solutionbee tools that collect and store Personal Information allow you to correct, update or review information you have submitted by going back to the specific tool, logging-in and making the desired changes. We will also retain your Personal Information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Mobile Device Applications (“Apps”)

When you download and install Solutionbee Mobile Apps, such as B-Ware, onto your mobile device we assign a random number to your App installation. This number cannot be used to identify you personally, and we cannot identify you personally unless you choose to become a registered user of the App. We use this random number in a manner similar to our use of Cookies as described in this Privacy Policy. Unlike Cookies, the random number is assigned to your installation of the App itself and not a browser, because the App does not work through your browser. Therefore the random number cannot be removed through settings. If you do not want us to use the random number for the purposes for which we use Cookies, please do not use the Mobile Device App, and please use your mobile device browser to access the Solutionbee Web Sites or our mobile optimized sites. We do not obtain any information about your mobile device, other than the brand, make and model and type of operating software your device uses.

Solutionbee Sites and Solutionbee Apps, such as B-Ware, ask for your consent (via an opt-in) before using information from pin-pointing technology like GPS or cell tower information. You can withdraw your consent (opt-out) for the use of “location” at any time by changing your location services in the “Settings” function on your mobile device. We use location services on our web sites and Apps to provide you content based upon your location, local search results, and local offers.

Links to Other Sites or Applications

Solutionbee may contain links to other sites or applications. Any information you provide on those sites or applications is provided directly to the owner of that site or application and is subject to that party’s privacy policy. Our privacy policy does not apply to such sites, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of those sites.

Accessing and Modifying Your Information

If you have an account, you can access and modify the Personal Information (that you provided to us) that is associated with your account. You may “opt out” of receiving marketing or promotional emails or other messages from us by changing your account preferences or by following the instructions in those messages. Note that, even if you opt out of these communications, you may still receive messages from us regarding the administration of your Account and your use of our services.

Whether you are a registered or unregistered Solutionbee user, you can request to delete your Personal Information. If you are an unregistered Solutionbee user, you may select the “Delete My Data” option in the Settings screen of the mobile application. If you are a registered user you can request to delete your Personal Information you have made available by contacting us and requesting that your Account be deleted. We will take steps to delete your Personal Information as soon as is practicable, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records and as otherwise required by law.

Please note that if you decide to have your Personal Information deleted, Solutionbee may retain any data related to your Hive history in aggregate form, and use and share such aggregate data for its business purposes. Please also note that if you select “Delete My Data” or you delete our app from your mobile device, we may retain the Personal Information and content in your account, in case you want to reactivate your account at some point in the future.

International Users

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, we may transfer your information to the United States and process it there (or any other country where we operate). By using Solutionbee, you consent to the collection, transfer, use, storage and disclosure of your information as described in this privacy policy.

Updating/Removing Your Personal Information

If you do not want your Personal Information used by Solutionbee as provided in this Privacy Policy, you should not register as a member or for any specific tool or application that collects Personal Information. You can correct, update or review Personal Information you have previously submitted by going back to the specific tool or application, logging-in and making the desired change. You can also update any Personal Information you have submitted by contacting us using the contact information listed below.

If you have registered and desire to delete any your Personal Information you have provided to us from our systems please contact us using the contact information listed below. Upon your request, we will delete your Personal Information from our active databases and where feasible from our backup media. You should be aware that it is not technologically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to the Solutionbee Web Sites from our servers.

If you decide that you would prefer not to receive personalized email or secure electronic messages from Solutionbee, you may “Opt-out” of the service by clicking on the settings tab on your My Solutionbee Configuration page and changing your email preference or following the unsubscribe instructions included in each promotional email.

Children

Protecting the privacy of children is given utmost importance by us. The Solutionbee Web Sites are not designed or intended to attract children or young under the age of 18. A parent or guardian, however, may use Solutionbee establish a beehive monitoring record for a minor. The parent or guardian is solely responsible for providing supervision of the minor’s use of Solutionbee software. The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for ensuring that the registration information is kept secure and that the information submitted is accurate. The parent or guardian also assumes full responsibility for the interpretation and use of any information or suggestions provided through Solutionbee services for the minor.

We encourage you to periodically review this website for the latest information on our privacy practices.
